Customer Service Week was established in 1984 by the International Customer Service Association (ICSA). This group took the time to contact their congressmen about recognizing the importance of customer service excellence, and in 1992, the U.S. Congress proclaimed the first week of October as National Customer Service Week. National Customer Service Week 2018 is observed from October 1st through October 5th. This year’s theme is Exceeding Expectations: Every Customer, Every Time.
